    • To realize the significance of how our increasingly-restored identity in the Gospel connects to others’ deepest longing for fulfillment in God.

• Key Ideas and Highlights of Session V

  • Be Who You Are: We can only give away what we possess. For that reason, evangelism may be much simpler than we’ve thought. Christians often want to share Jesus with others but may not know how to get started. Understanding what God has uniquely shaped and deposited into our lives frees us up to easily offer what we’ve been given.

  • Stewarding Our Identity: All of us have a unique biblical identity that has been shaped by our story, experiences, and what God has been doing in us throughout our lives. For that reason, God will bring people into our lives who need what He has placed inside of us. Understanding that our identity is something we steward helps us keep our eyes open to opportunities to share Jesus with others.

• Pro Tips for Facilitating Session V

  • One simple practice that Teams use in this session is reading aloud everyone’s unique Identity Statement. Write these down into one Team list you can later refer back to. It’s amazing to see what God has brought to the Team through what He has deposited in the lives of the Team members.

  • Our hope is that the people on your Team would no longer feel afraid to evangelize. We want your Team to feel fully equipped and confident to share Jesus with those who don’t know Him yet. Understanding that God simply invites us to be who He has made us to be helps us make that mental shift.

  • As a Coach, recognize that at Session V the arc of the A(D) Team Series begins to change. In Sessions I-IV, your Team did mostly inner work. In Sessions VI-X, your Team will explore outer work. Session V is the bridge that carries Team members from focusing on what God has been doing in them toward what God wants to do through them.
