• Session X Summary and Objective

  • Summary: A celebration of all that God has done in, through, and around us; a reflection of the values and rhythms experienced in this A(D) Team Series; an invitation to further support and connection; and commissioning as disciples who make disciples!

  • Objective:

    • Fully embrace your great commissioning as a disciple-maker and explore deeper connections with your A(D) Team, a new Team, the ACTIVATE(D) staff, and the greater ACTIVATE(D) family.

• Key Ideas and Highlights of Session X

  • Celebrate all that God has done! This session is a great opportunity to give thanks to God for all that He has done in, through, and around your Team for the last ten sessions! Allow space for people to thank God specifically for what God has done in their lives. This will help anchor those learnings and increase their affection for Jesus.

  • Watch the video below to see a picture of what it would look like for your Team to move forward together. This session is an end to the ten weeks, and at the same time, it is a beginning! Get a glimpse of what the Lord might continue to do as your Team decides to live into the values and vision of what God has been working within your Team.

  • The elephant in the room: what’s next? As a Team, have the conversation and explore how you want to move forward together, or if members of your Team want to multiply out and start a Team of their own.

• Pro Tips for Facilitating Session X

  Consider the two options below and talk about them with your Team. After you decide what direction your Team wants to go, explore the steps that follow.

  • Move forward: One option your Team members have is to move forward together as an ongoing intentional Team, committed to the outcomes of growing in Christ and seeing new people come to follow Him! The resources and next steps to help Teams move forward are mentioned below but are fully explained in Step 5: Moving Beyond the A(D) Team Series.

    • Explore the A(D) Team Meeting Outline. This outline will give your Team a structure for meeting as you move forward. See Step 5’s “Moving Beyond the A(D) Team Series” for the A(D) Team Meeting Outline.

    • Host a Conversation About the “Three Minimums.” Every Team embodies the values of community, communion, and commission. These values help your Team grow in community with one another, explore deeper communion and affection with Jesus, and partner with Jesus and one another in the Great Commission. How will your Team live into these values? A greater explanation of these Three Minimums is in Step 5’s “Moving Beyond the A(D) Team Series.”

    • Gather a list of names. Who are the people in your life who have not yet experienced God’s love? Write a list of names and bring them to your next meeting. This is a great way to be mindful of praying for and participating with the Holy Spirit in pursuit of them.

  • Multiply: A second option your Team members have is for the individuals to lead a new group of people, bringing them through the Disciple-Making Team Training, to launch a new Team with them. If this is the case, then follow the steps below:

    • Connect with Your A(D) Staff Mobilizer. Introduce and connect the Team member who wants to launch a Team of their own with your A(D) Staff Mobilizer.
