Attune

/əˈt(y)o͞on/
verb
make receptive or aware.
accustom or acclimatize.
make harmonious.

Novo’s reFocusing Team invites you, your spouse, and key missional leaders to “Attune”, an introduction to hearing from God and ministering in His power to those you’re serving while on mission in the community. Attune is for pastors and leaders of the churches that have completed the Missional Pathway and are ministering to the unchurched in their cities. Unlike our other ministry trainings, Attune will occur in a spectacular retreat setting: a ten-bedroom beach house on the pacific ocean in Ventura, California. The dates are March 2 – 5, 2020.

We have invited Dr. Bill Randall, author of The Life Jesus Made Possible to facilitate much of Attune, to help you and your church discern the voice of God and minister with confidence to the infirm, injured, and oppressed that your people encounter while meeting practical needs with the love and goodness of God. In the New Testament and throughout Church history every major evangelistic movement has been characterized by what the author of Hebrews calls “signs and wonders.” While this kind of ministry has taken a back seat in much of the Church in the West, it is a prominent feature of most Christian ministry worldwide. Novo’s reFocusing Team is not interested in making “charismatics” out of you. We desire to see the Gospel flourish in three domains: word, deed, and power. It is the weakness of this third domain that we hope to begin to address with Attune.

Will you join us?

Attune will begin at 5:00pm on Monday, March 2 and conclude after breakfast on Thursday, March 5. If flying in, plan to arrive at LAX before 1:00pm on the 2ndand depart after 1:00pm on the 5th. You’ll need a rental car to get to and from the beach house. The address is: 3448 Pacific Coast Highway, Ventura, CA 93001.

Cost is $300/person which includes lodging and meals. Register now for Attune because space is so limited.
